Шар из нержавеющей стали AISI 440C
AISI 440C stainless steel balls provide maximum hardness, toughness and dimensional stability. They are highly resistant to rolling-contact fatigue and perform similarly to tool steels, making them ideal for antifriction bearings. After heat treatment, 440C achieves HRC 57-65 — the highest hardness among stainless steel balls. As a 30-year 440C ball manufacturer in China, Jiaxin supplies precision 440C balls from 0.3 mm to 250 mm in grades G3 to G60 — a wider size range and tighter precision than most competitors. Trusted by Fortune 500 companies across four continents.

Characteristics
Key material properties that make 440C the hardest stainless steel ball available.

Maximum Hardness
Heat treated to HRC 57–65, providing exceptional wear resistance and making 440C the hardest stainless steel ball grade.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
High chromium martensitic stainless steel delivers excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and mildly corrosive environments.

Precision Manufacturing
Available in precision grades G10–G1000 with outstanding roundness, surface finish, and tight dimensional tolerances.
Magnetic
440C balls are magnetic, facilitating automated sorting and assembly.
Corrosion Resistance
440C stainless steel balls offer generally good resistance to mild acids, alkalis, foods, fresh water and air. They outperform chrome steel (52100) balls in mildly corrosive environments.
However, 440C is not recommended for: seawater, chloride environments, strong acids, or marine applications. For these conditions, consider 316/316L stainless steel balls or ceramic balls.
